Daily Entries: Day 5

Yesterday (I was sick) I showed the virtue of order "He that would catch fish, must venture his bait.".  In order to do well with my fruit sale for the music department, I had to inform everyone in my church of the sale. I needed to prepare before I could even think about turning in money for our fundraiser. Despite my illness, I knew that I would have to fight through it or else my sales wouldn't be very profitable because if I waited until next week, I wouldn't have enough time to get as many sales as opposed to doing it now.

I ignored the virtue of tranquility"He's that secure is not safe." although I tend to ignore this one everyday in my own way. I have this subconscious theory that if I close myself off from others to save myself from becoming hurt, then it's just better that way. But I feel as though in doing that, I'm not really helping myself or I'm making it easier for people to hurt me once I open up again or that it hurts more. Maybe one day I can break free from this and not feel like I have to be alone.
